You’re warmly invited to the Youth Leaders Prayer Gathering on Monday 12th May at the Pioneer Centre in Cleobury Mortimer (DY14 8JG), from 6pm–8:15pm.
Why the Pioneer Centre?
Over the past few months, I’ve discovered something exciting happening at Whitemoor Lakes activity centre. They’ve got a growing vision to see the centre become a hub for youth ministry, supporting and resourcing local churches and organisations across the Midlands region. Jon Ford has already launched a fantastic programme at Whitemoor Lakes, and now he and I are exploring how the Pioneer Centre could serve as a similar hub for our region—a space where youth leaders can gather, pray, dream, and seek God together.
Dinner is on us!
The Pioneer Centre has kindly offered to provide dinner for everyone, so we’ll start with food at 6pm, followed by time to worship, pray, and connect. We’ll be focusing prayer on the West Midlands, young people, schools, and churches—bringing our region before God.

Understanding The Teenage Brain: Training with Claire Banham

We’d love for you to join us for an online session with Claire Banham, the founder and director of the Haven resource. In this session, we’ll take a look at how the teenage brain works. Claire will talk us through how teenagers think, process emotions, and make decisions, giving us some helpful insights into their behaviour and development.
The Haven provides support for young people, with the aim of reducing the life-limiting effects of problematic anxiety. Claire's work through Haven plays a crucial role in helping young people manage these challenges.
This is a great opportunity for youth workers, mentors, and anyone supporting young people to better understand what’s going on in their minds. Whether you’re working closely with teens or just want to learn more about how to supportthem, this session is for you.

Stir Gathering is a safe, encouraging space where whole youth groups can come together to worship Jesus. Events will be broadly evangelistic in nature but we will be focussing on discipleship and mission too.
Although we often call it a youth event, at its heart Stir Gathering is here to serve churches and youth leaders—a trusted environment where your young people can worship, grow, and be inspired.
Info for youth leaders:
Catalyst youth Trust holds overall responsibility for safeguarding at the event. Youth leaders are responsible for their own group’s risk assessments and safeguarding measures to further support their visit to the event. Youth Leaders are also required to be familiar with the prayer guidance.
