Mentoring

our approach to mentoring is rooted in compassion, consistency, and genuine care. While we’re not counsellors or mental health specialists, we are passionate about coming alongside students who may be struggling — whether that’s with anxious thoughts and feelings, challenges in relationships, or simply needing support to navigate everyday life. Our mentoring sessions create a safe, relaxed space where young people can talk openly, reflect on their values, and think about their goals for the future. Each mentoring journey typically lasts between half a term and a full term, allowing us to build trust and offer meaningful encouragement during a key moment in their development.

Lunch Clubs

Lunchtime offers the perfect pause in the school day — a chance for students to recharge, get creative, and feel supported. Whether it’s hands-on fun like Stop Motion Lego or a relaxed space for meaningful conversation and pastoral support, BYSP can help you create something that fits your school. We’d love to chat about what could work in your setting.

RE Curriculum

We offer a wide range of engaging sessions to support RE departments across all year groups. For younger students, we explore themes like belonging, identity, and morality from a Christian perspective. As pupils progress, we look at topics such as creation, the role of the Church in the community, and justice and reconciliation. Our popular ‘God reaching down’ workshops help students in Years 10 and 11 reflect on Christian beliefs about Jesus and salvation, often timed as helpful revision. We also offer enrichment experiences like walks to local places of worship. These sessions are flexible, interactive, and designed to complement your curriculum while helping students think deeply about faith and life.

Moving Up

We’re passionate about walking with young people through every stage of their education — and that journey starts with a confident step into secondary school. Moving Up is our free, one-hour workshop designed especially for Year 6 pupils as they prepare for this big change. The session is packed with fun, reflection, and real-life insight to help ease worries and build excitement for what’s ahead. Through an engaging game of Two Truths and a Lie, our team share honest stories from their own first days at secondary school, helping students explore expectations in a safe and light-hearted way. We also create space for group discussion, encouraging pupils to reflect on their time at primary and talk openly about what’s coming next. The workshop finishes with a fun quiz to leave everyone feeling reassured, informed, and ready for the next step.
